Problem? M alfunction?
If problems arise, first try these suggestions before having the
unit serviced.
Possible Cause
• POWER is not turned ON.
• When POWER is turned ON,
the display w indow stays fixed
on the display
.
• The display w indow stays fixed
on a num ber display such as
.
• The display w indow stays fixed
on the error display
• The internal battery pack has
not been recharged.
• The battery pack is about 2
years old and should be
replaced.
• POWER is not turned ON.
• M aster/Slave sw itch is not
sw itched to " M " m aster.
• Auto/Point sw itch is not set
properly.
• Address num ber is not
properly set.
• The exhibit card is covering the
optical transm ission lens.
Solution
• Turn POWER sw itch to ON.
• There is a problem w ith the
internal program of the m ain
unit.
Contact a JVC service
representative.
• Take out the CF card and insert
again.
If this does not resolve the
problem , contact a JVC service
representative.
• The CF card has m alfunctioned.
Replace w ith a CF card that

functions properly.
• Recharge the Portable ROM
Player w ith the recom m ended
chager.
• Purchase a new battery pack
(BN-R368) at your local dealer.
• Plug the pow er adaptor into a
pow er outlet.
• Sw itch to " M " m aster.
• When using the Pointing

set the sw itch to
" P" point.
