Parrot FLOWER POWER - Sensor Quick Start Guide
Installation
- Insert the AAA battery positive side down (diagram A).
The light located on top of the Parrot Flower Power must flash. - Select a location where the light sensor of the Parrot Flower Power will not be covered by leaves (diagram B).
- Insert the Parrot Flower Power vertically into the soil until the metal forks are completely submerged (diagram C).
Note: The battery power can last up to 6 months.
Description
The Parrot Flower Power comprises of four sensors (diagram A).

1 | measure light intensity |
2 | measure the ambient temperature |
3 | measure the level of fertilizer |
4 | measure the moisture level of the soil |
Compatibility
In order to use the Parrot Flower Power, your smartphone/ tablet must support Bluetooth® 4.0 and must be connected to the internet. Please refer to the support page of our website for more information:

Download the application
Login to the App StoreSM and download the free «Parrot Flower Power» application.
Linking a plant
- Activate the Bluetooth function on your smartphone.
- Open the Parrot Flower Power application.
- Create an account.
- Tap My garden.
- Tap the (+) located on the top of your screen to add a first plant to your account.
- Enter the required information and select your Parrot Flower Power.
-> Your plant is linked to the Parrot Flower Power.
Once the Parrot Flower Power is linked with a plant, you will have to wait for approximately 24 hrs to allow the Parrot Flower Power to analyze enough data and give you some advice.
Accessing the library
To access the Flower Power Library which comprises more than 6000 plants, trees and vegetables:
- Open the Parrot Flower Power application.
- Tap .
- Enter the name of your plant in the search bar to find your plant in the Flower Power Library.
Maintenance and precautions
- Use a non-rechargeable Alkaline AAA battery 1.5V only.
- Avoid an extended immersion of your Parrot Flower Power.
- Loosen hard soils before inserting the Parrot Flower Power in the ground. If you encounter soil resistance, do not hesitate to move the product.
- Do not drop the Parrot Flower Power on hard surfaces or concrete floors.
- Never use the Parrot Flower Power near current conducting components.
- Return used batteries to designated collection points.
- Risk of explosion if battery is replaced by an incorrect type. Discard empty battery according to the instructions.
