How do I put it in neutral to push/pull it?

To put the ICON i40L in neutral for pushing or pulling:

1. Go to the battery compartment under the seat.
2. Flip the main switch to the "MANUAL EMB" position. This disengages the magnetic brake.
3. The vehicle can now be manually pushed or pulled.

Important:
- Do not leave the vehicle unattended in the MANUAL EMB setting, as it may roll.
- After moving the vehicle, switch back to either the "OFF" or "AUTO EMB" position to re-engage normal brake function.

Thank you. I toggled that switch, but, thought that the wheels were locked due to empty batteries. Probanly simply too heavy to push. @Mr. Anderson

How difficult and pricey is it to swit h from standard Trojan acid batteries to litjium? Will I get higher speed than 25 mph? How much better will it handle steep hills? Thanks, Icons.

Switching from standard Trojan acid batteries to lithium for the ICON i40L is not very difficult. One user reported that the hardest part was removing the old batteries and cleaning up. Installing the new lithium Bolt 160AH battery took about an hour.

Yes, the switch improves performance. The user noted significant improvements in acceleration, braking, range, and hill handling. The vehicle was no longer slowed down by wind or hills.
