Note: Don't load the paper sideways;
always load it short edge first.

Slide the left edge guide over.

Connect your USB Cable
Branchez le câble USB

Lift up the scanner.
Soulevez le scanner.

Plug the square end of your USB cable (not included) into the port,
as shown below.
Branchez l'extrémité carrée du câble USB (non inclus) dans le port, tel

Caution: Do not connect the cable to your computer until you have
installed the software.

Route the cable in the channel along the side of the RX580,
as shown.
Faites passer le câble dans la fente à l'intérieur de l'appareil RX580,
tel qu'illustré.

Close the scanner.
Rabattez le scanner.
