GENERAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Caution! Read all safety warnings and instructions!
Be sure to keep this Instruction Manual on hand for future
reference.
Read these General Safety Instructions as well as the
Instruction Manual carefully and follow all instructions.
The KorfkerRest
®
LUNA must be correctly fitted and used
to provide increased comfort and support while playing
and to prevent injury to you or damage to your instrument.
®
The KorfkerRest
LUNA could damage your instrument if it
comes loose and impacts your instrument, or if it slips off
causing you to lose control of your instrument.
Incorrect use or maintenance could also result in physical
discomfort, interruptions while playing your instrument or,
in rare cases, in physical harm.
Excessive force put onto the rest may cause it to bend
beyond its capabilities and snap.
Please observe the following safety recommendations:
Before every use verify the correct setup and secure attach-

ment of your KorfkerRest
LUNA. Refer to the Instruction
Manual for details.
Check all parts of your KorfkerRest
and tear before every use. If damaged or worn parts are
detected do not use your KorfkerRest
parts have been replaced. Continued use can lead to direct
damage to the instrument, instability of your KorfkerRest
LUNA or discomfort while playing your instrument.
Before making adjustments, always detach your Korfker-
®
Rest
LUNA and move your instrument to a safe place.

QUICK START GUIDE

To get a first impression of your KorfkerRest
follow these steps:

Attach the the KorfkerRest
Step 2
If the rest is too wide to be attached securely onto your in-
strument, one of the two barrel legs will need to be removed
from its hook and reversed in order to reduce the width of
the rest.
To remove a barrel leg, tilt it inwards about half way before
pulling it out of its hook. Now, while holding the rest firmly
with the opposite hook and barrel leg in one hand, use the
other hand to pull the barrel leg out of its hook by its rubber
foot. Your thumb should be used for support (see picture 2,
page 10). Now the barrel leg can be reversed and inserted
back into the hook by lining its barrel up against the hook
jaws and firmly clicking it into position.
