The LRAD Power Pack
The LRAD Power Pack is a portable power system containing two 12-volt batteries and a charger and is designed to power all
LRAD units that have a source power requirement of 12-28 VDC. The Power Pack allows users to power units without being
tethered to an outlet, resulting in greater deployment flexibility.

OPERATION

Power Pack must remain CLOSED when operating outdoors. Internal electronics are only protected against moisture when
the lid is closed.
DO NOT block pressure vent. This vent (item A) prevents pressure/vacuum buildup when there are changes in temperature
or altitude.
The power pack is equipped with a resettable circuit breaker (item B) to protect the equipment.
1.
Press the test button (item C) to display the charge level of the power pack.
2.
Read the power pack's battery level on the charge indicator display (item D).
• If the power pack's battery is below the desired level, then skip to the CHARGING section and perform the steps listed.
3.
Connect provided 'power supply to DC input' cable (not shown) between the power pack's DC output connector (item E)
and the DC input connector on the LRAD.
4.
Turn on the POWER switch (item F).
5.
Once power is on, PWR indicator light (item G) will illuminate. The power pack is now ready for use.
