5. Product Overview
The PDT-DVC-8219-I is an industrial video signal converter, designed to accept a wide variety of
input signal types and frequencies, which are then converted to an 800*600@60Hz video format
which is provided via a D-SUB 15 VGA connector.
The device is particularly useful for use in CNC machines, and other equipment that was originally
designed for use with a CRT monitor and can be used to replace the CRT when used in
conjunction with an LCD flat panel display.
The input stage accepts a wide range for signal formats and detection recognition of input type
and format type takes place automatically. The device features an On-Screen Display (OSD)
Menu, to make adjustments to configuration settings. The unit requires no additional equipment,
with the exception of a DC power supply, and to that end is fully standalone.
