    Einbau und Betrieb Vor der ersten Benutzung Packen Sie alle Teile des Rückfahrsystems aus und entsorgen Sie nicht benötigtes Verpackungsmaterial oder lagern Sie es an einem sicheren Ort. Es besteht Erstickungsgefahr für Kleinkinder! Vor der Montage Bevor Sie das Rückfahrsystem fest an Ihrem Fahrzeug installieren, kontrollieren Sie die ordnungsgemäße Funktion aller Teile.
  • Page 15 Einbau und Betrieb 2. Klappen Sie den Hebel des Saugfußes nach oben und platzieren Sie den Saugfuß an der gewünschten Stelle. Drücken Sie den Saugfuß an und klappen Sie den Hebel nach unten. 3. Rasten Sie den Monitor in der Halterung am beweglichen Arm der Halterung ein.

    Einbau und Betrieb LCD Bildschirm anschließen 1. Vergewissern Sie sich, dass der Bildschirm fest sitzt und sich nicht lösen kann. Verbinden Sie das mitgelieferte 12/24 V Netzkabel mit dem Stromanschluss (13) des LCD Bild- schirms. 2. Stecken Sie die andere Seite des Kabels in den Zigarettenan- zünder des Kraftfahrzeugs.
  • Page 17 Einbau und Betrieb 3. Finden Sie nun eine Stelle, an der das Stromkabel von der Kamera durch die Karosserie Ihres Kfz zu den Stromkabeln der Rückfahrleuchte geführt werden kann. 4. Einige Autos verfügen über eine Bohrung in der Nähe des Kfz- Kennzeichens, an der Sie das Kabel durchführen können.

    Operation Monitor Power Connection 1. Make sure the monitor is fixed in place and cannot fall down. Insert the 12/24 Volt DC plug of the power cable into the power jack (13) at the right side of the monitor. 2. Plug the 12/24 Volt cigarette lighter adaptor into the vehicle’s cigarette lighter socket.
  • Page 32 Operation 3. Find a route for the camera’s power cable through the vehicle’s body ending at the reverse light circuit. 4. Some vehicles may already have a hole available to pass the wire through, such as where the license plate light is mount- ed.
  • Page 33 If you are uncertain about the wiring, you can use a 12/24 Volt multimeter (available at Westfalia) to determine which is the positive wire. Also see the connection scheme on page 26. 10.
