To display the Setup dialog, check the Setup button at the left of the screen. A dialog similar to the
following appears:
You can now edit any of the items shown. When you are through editing, press [Save] to make your changes
permanent.

Port Settings

The Port Settings let you specify the brand of modem you are using and the settings for the serial connection
between the PC and modem.
To specify the port settings:

Highlight the Modem drop-down box and select a modem from the list.
NOTE: If you don't see your modem brand on the list, you can either choose an
equivalent modem, choose Default which works with most modems, or use the
Modems dialog to create an entry for your modem.
Highlight the Baud rate drop-down box and select a baud rate.
Highlight the Stop bits drop-down box and select either 1 or 2 stop bits. (In almost all cases, you
should set this value to 1.)
