Yes, my remote is not responding to my TV... The red light that's normally at the bottom of the t v, where the sony sign is is not lighting up, so I don't think it's receiving or transmitting any signal from my remote to my tv

If the remote is not responding and the red light on your Sony XBR-55X900H TV is not lighting up, follow these steps:

1. Press and hold the power button on the remote control for about five seconds to restart the TV.
2. If the TV does not respond, unplug the AC power cord (mains lead).
3. Press and release the power button on the TV.
4. Wait for two minutes.
5. Plug the AC power cord back in.
6. Wait about one minute for the system to initialize, then try operating the TV again.

If the issue continues, replace the batteries in the remote control.
