Introduction The Capture series of weld fume collectors incorporates a high-volume vacuum system that uses a high efficiency, nanofiber-media cartridge fil- ter to collect airborne weld fume particles. Weld fumes are captured at the source by a unit-mounted extraction arm. The extraction arm uses gas-shock assisted friction joints and flexible tubing to ensure the hood is placed near the source of the fumes.
