3.1 NOKIA PHONE

Note: Connectivity software for the phone from which the data is being transferred

(like Nokia PC Suite or Nokia Data Suite), must be installed and configured first.

After selecting the Nokia phone as the data source, click Next.

Connect your phone, wait for the connection confirmation and select the data type to be

transferred. The options are Contact items / Calendar items.

Click Next to start the transfer.

After selecting MS Outlook as the data source, click Next.

Tip: If you go back to MS Outlook to add folders before you start copying, click

Refresh to update the folder tree view.

Select the Outlook folders containing the contacts or calendar data to be transferred. Click

the + sign in the folder tree to view subfolders.

Click Next to start the transfer.

Before using the Upgrade plug-in you must transfer the data from the communicator to the

PC using PC Suite for Nokia 9110 Communicator.

1. From Nokia 9110 Communicator to PC

Start the PC Suite for Nokia 9110 Communicator and connect your communicator to your

PC.

Note: If the PC Suite for Nokia 9210i Communicator and PC Suite for Nokia 9110

Communicator use the same communication port, you may have to exit the PC

Suite for Nokia 9210i Communicator before starting the PC Suite for Nokia 9110

Communicator.

Click the Import/Export icon on the toolbar. The Import/Export application opens.

Select the data type.

Type a name for the file to be exported and browse for the location to which you want to copy

the file. Keep a note of the file name and the location.

Click Export.
