- Page 3 INTRODUCTION The purpose of this document is help to use Nokia 9210i Communicator as a modem over IR connection. SETTING UP A DIAL-UP CONNECTION FOR USE WITH THE NOKIA 9210I COMMUNICATOR VIA CABLE IN WINDOWS 2000 In the communicator's Fax modem settings, select Infrared.
- Page 4 Press Activate in the Fax modem main view. Select Make New Connection in Network and Dial-up connections. Click Next in Network Connection Wizard of Windows 2000.
- Page 5 Choose either Dial-up to private network or Dial-up to the Internet and click Next. Choose Infrared Modem Port and click Next.
- Page 6 Type in the ISP's phone number and click Next. Choose either For all users or Only for myself and click Next.

If you get an error message (Error :770) after Nokia 9210i Communicator has started to dial If you have installed PC Suite for Nokia 9210i on you PC close the PC Suite Icon on the taskbar. Also close the Copy Anywhere icon.
