(5) Wait until the status changes from "Starting" to "Ready".
(6) Make test prints to verify the printing results.
(7) If the ink jets out continuously, a fault exists.
Stop the operation by performing the "No-cleaning stop procedure" which is indicated at section
3 No-cleaning stop procedure.
●Clean the print head (refer to the "Essentials of print head cleaning" given below).
●With the print head cover left removed, press the STARTUP and Eject ink keys in
sequence to initiate ink ejection and verify the ink stream position.
Essentials of print head cleaning
●With the cleaning bottle, pour the makeup over the orifice plate, charge electrode,
deflection electrodes, gutter, and mounting base to clean them.
●Thoroughly wipe the makeup away from the parts (mounting base included) surfaces
with wiping paper and allow them to dry.
The ink and makeup, their waste solution, used wiping papers and empty containers
are flammable.
Waste disposal must comply with appropriate regulations.
Consult the appropriate regulatory agency for further information.
Precautions
If you frequently perform the <Shut down> procedure, excessive makeup ink enters the
printer, thereby thinning the ink and raising the main ink tank ink level unduly high. If it is
absolutely necessary to stop an operation at frequent intervals, follow the
"
