Installer and Users please note:
These instructions should be read carefully and left with
the user of the product for future reference.
The NJ270AW must be installed by a competent
electrician in accordance with the current IEE Wiring
Regulations.
Fixing
Attach the Star cloth firmly in place using the tie-straps along
the top edge. When in use, the star cloth must be fully unfolded.
Connections
Connect the Star cloth to the NJ270P power supply using the
lead supplied. The correct lead has a male 9-way D connector at
one end, and a female 9-way D-connector at the other end.
Each NJ270P power supply can supply only ONE starcloth.
Connect the NJ273A hand-held controller to the NJ270P
power supply using the RJ11 lead supplied. Plug the lead into the
left-hand RJ11 socket on the NJ270P power supply.
Connect the NJ270P power supply to the mains lead
provided. If it is necessary to change the plug then the new plug
should be wired as follows:
• Brown = Live
• Blue = Neutral
• Green-yellow = earth
• The NJ270AW must be earthed.
To run more than one starcloth from the same NJ273A hand-
held controller, connect a RJ11 lead from the right-hand RJ11
socket on the first power supply to the left-hand RJ11 socket on
the next power supply. Each NJ273A hand-held controller can
control up to 32 power supplies, which can be either NJ270P or
NJ271P or a combination of both.
