Inserting a SIM card and battery

• Keep all miniature SIM cards out of the reach of small children.
• The SIM card and its contacts can easily be damaged by scratches or bending,
so be careful when handling, inserting or removing the card.
• Before installing the SIM card, ensure that the battery is removed. Before
removing the battery, ensure that the phone is switched off and disconnetcted
from any accessory

1. Press the back cover release button (1), open the back cover from the top (2)
and remove it.
2. Remove the battery by lifting it from the finger grip (3). Open the SIM card gate
by rotating it (4).
3. Slide the SIM card carefully into the SIM card slot (5). Make sure that the gold
colour connectors on the card are facing downwards and that the bevelled
corner is on the right. Rotate the SIM card gate back to lock the SIM card (6).
4. Align the gold colour connectors on the battery with the corresponding
connectors on the phone, and push the opposite end of the battery until it
snaps into place (7).
5. Align the bottom of the back cover to the bottom of the phone, press the top of
the back cover to lock it into place (8).

Charging the battery

• Do not charge the battery when one or both of the phone covers is removed.
