POWER SOURCES
To use the radio insert 3 × "LR03" batteries into the compartment (9). Be sure that the batteries are inserted correctly to avoid damage to the appliance. Remove the batteries when the radio will not be used for a long period of time, as this will cause leakage to the batteries and subsequently damage to your radio. To obtain maximum battery performance, we recommend using "ALKALINE" batteries.
TO USE THE RADIO
- Press the [Power] button (1) to power on;
- (The first time you power on the radio, the radio will scan the DAB radio stations automatically. It will display and play the first station after the scan is done);
- Select the band (DAB or FM) by pressing the [Mode] button (1);
- Adjust radio frequency to your desired station by pressing [Tuning -/+] button (4/5);
- Adjust the volume with the [Volume -/+] button (2/3) to the desired level;
- To power off the radio, press and hold (around 3 sec.) the [Power] button (1).
Note: For a better reception reorient the antenna (7).
TUNE DAB STATION
- To select the desired radio station use the [Tuning -/+] button (4/5).
Note: In case there is No DAB Service, press & hold the
[Scan] button (2) to start scanning.
FM STATION SCAN
- Use the [Tuning +/-] button (4/5) to fine tune the frequency in a step of 0.05 MHz.
- Press and hold the [Tuning +/-] button (4/5) to scan the previous/next available station.
PRESET
There are 10 presets available for DAB and 10 for FM.
- Set the desired radio station frequency as explained previously;
- Press and hold [Menu] (6) to access to the menu;
- Press the [Tuning -/+] button (4/5) to select "Main Menu";
- Confirm with the [Enter] button (3);
- Press the [Tuning -/+] button (4/5) to select "Preset Store";
- Confirm with the [Enter] button (3);
- Press the [Tuning -/+] button (4/5) to select the desired preset number;
- Confirm with the [Enter] button (3).
RECALL A PRESET STATION
- Press and hold [Menu] (6) to access to the menu;
- Press the [Tuning -/+] button (4/5) to select "Main Menu";
- Confirm with the [Enter] button (3);
- Press the [Tuning -/+] button (4/5) to select "Preset Recall";
- Confirm with the [Enter] button (3);
- Press the [Tuning -/+] button (4/5) to select the desired preset number;
- Confirm with the [Enter] button (3).
INFO
When the radio station is playing, press the [Info] button (6) repeatedly to cycle through the information broadcasted by the radio.
In FM / DAB mode there is an option menu.
- Press and hold [Menu] (6) to access to the options;
- Press the [Tuning -/+] button (4/5) to navigate into the options;
- Press [Enter] (3) to select the options;
- Press [Menu] (6) to exit the menu.
SYSTEM SETTINGS
In FM / DAB mode, press and hold [Menu] (6) and use [Tuning -/+] button (4/5) to select "Main Menu";
- Set 12 / 24 Hours.
- Auto Update: Time and Date are auto updated.
- Clock Setup: To Set Time and Date.
- Factory Reset: Select this option to restore the original settings.
- SW version: Select this oprion to see the current software version.
CLOCK AND DATE SETTING
When the radio is ON:
- Press and hold [Menu] (6) to access to the menu;
- Press the [Tuning -/+] button (4/5) to select "Main Menu";
- Confirm with the [Enter] button (3);
- Press the [Tuning -/+] button (4/5) to select "Clock Setup";
- Confirm with the [Enter] button (3);
- Press the [Tuning -/+] buttons (4/5) to adjust the hour;
- Confirm with the [Enter] button (3);
- Press the [Tuning -/+] buttons (4/5) to adjust the minutes;
- Confirm with the [Enter] button (3);
- Repeat steps 8 and 9 to set the date.
FACTORY RESET
When the radio is ON:
- Press and hold [Menu] (6) to access to the menu;
- Press the [Tuning -/+] button (4/5) to select "Main Menu";
- Confirm with the [Enter] button (3);
- Press the [Tuning -/+] button (4/5) to select "Factory Reset";
- Confirm with the [Enter] button (3);
- Press the [Tuning -/+] button (4/5) to select "Yes";
- Confirm with the [Enter] button (3).
