PRELIMINARY OPERATIONS

Charging: charge the device before use. Use the USB charge cable (8) supplied.
The LED lights up red when the unit is charging. The LED lights up green when charging is complete.
Flat battery indicator: if the LED flashes red, the battery is flat.

USE WITH THE PHONE

Pairing the device with a mobile phone:

  • Make sure that the device is switched off and turn off Bluetooth® on the phone.
  • Press and hold down the MF button (1) for approx. 3 seconds until the LED (7) flashes red/green in alternating fashion.
  • Turn on Bluetooth® on the phone and select FLIPPER after it has been detected. The LED (7) on the device will now flash green to show that the unit has been paired.
    If pairing is unsuccessful, turn the device off and try again.


If the device or the phone has been turned off or is out of range, you may need to use the menu on your phone to pair them again; or, just press the MF button (1) once.

To turn the device ON: hold down the MF button (1) until the green LED (7) turns on (approx. 3 seconds).

To turn the device OFF: hold down the MF button (1) until the green LED (7) turns off (approx. 3 seconds).

To answer a call: press the MF button (1) briefly.

To end a call: press the MF button (1) briefly.

To adjust the speaker volume: press the button + or - (2-3) during conversation/music playback.

Play/Pause: press the MF button (1).

FF: press the FF button (5) once.

Rew: press the Rew button (4) once.

USING THE HEADSET ONLY AS AN MP3 MUSIC PLAYER

With its 4 GB of internal memory, the FLIPPER can be used as an MP3 music player without having to necessarily connect it to the phone. This solution is recommended so that FLIPPER can be used during activities in which the phone cannot be used (swimming, climbing, etc.). To access the device's memory and upload music tracks to its internal memory, connect FLIPPER to the USB cable (8) and then plug the cable into the USB port of the PC.
FLIPPER supports MP3 and WMA audio formats.

To switch from Bluetooth® mode to MP3 mode (or vice versa):
press the MF button (1) twice Play/Pause: press the MF button (1).
FF: press the FF button (5) once.
Rew: press the Rew button (4) once.

To adjust the speaker volume: press the button + or - (2-3) during music playback.


The device is protected when scuba diving up to a depth of 2 metres for about 90 minutes (IPX8 certification).

After use, it is recommended to rinse it under running water, to dry the contacts with a cloth and to place it in the open air, in a dry environment.
