Wear appropriate protective clothing (gloves, shoes, goggles, hearing protection, etc.). Ensure that all operating controls (ropes, cables, rods, etc) are placed so as they cannot be operated unintentionally and cause damage or injury.

The machine must only be attached to the hitch points provided for this purpose.

    The safety tow chain must be replaced if any one link is broken, stretched, or otherwise damaged or deformed. Safety chains are sold separately. Before adjusting, maintaining or repairing the machine, perform the safety shutdown procedure. Make sure that machine is in working position.

    Wheel Rake SR108 GII, SR110 GII, SR112 GII 8.2.2 Turning at headlands To prevent damage to the rake, DO NOT make 180° a sharp turn around at the headlands with the rake in the work position. At a headland, use the tractor hydraulics to lift the rake wheels from the ground (A), turn around, and then lower the rake wheels back to the ground (B).

    Wheel Rake SR108 GII, SR110 GII, SR112 GII 8.2.3 Setting rake arm angle Change the rake wheel angle by rotating the turnbuckle (1). Making the turnbuckle longer will increase the rake 40° 20° arm angle and create a wider raking width. Making the turnbuckle shorter will decrease the rake arm angle and create a narrower raking width.

This will change the windrow width but not affect the rake arm angle. To change working width: - Stop the tractor engine and remove ignition key.

    Wheel Rake SR108 GII, SR110 GII, SR112 GII Individual rake arm control This kit provides all of the hardware and hoses necessary to allow the operator to have individual control of each rake arm from the tractor. The rake can be configured to rake with the left side, right side, or both.

Most tractor lights will be visible during transport of this equipment.     Wheel Rake SR108 GII, SR110 GII, SR112 GII Ball hitch The ball hitch is offered as an alternative to the drawbar hitch. See "Coupling the Machine" in the Putting Into Service section. Windguard Crops with less density or lighter weight may need to be raked with windguards installed on some or all of the raking wheels when raking in windy conditions.
