Using phone features

Adjust the volume
1. On the Active Call screen, select one of the following options:
To increase the volume, roll the trackwheel up.
To decrease the volume, roll the trackwheel down.
Tip: To adjust the volume while you are using another handheld application,
click the trackwheel. A menu appears. Click Volume. Roll the trackwheel up
or down to change the volume.
Use the speaker
1. On the Active Call screen, click the trackwheel. A menu appears.
2. Click Speakerphone. The call is broadcast through the speaker.
3. Select one of the following option:
To increase the speaker volume, roll the trackwheel up.
To decrease the speaker volume, roll the trackwheel down.
To turn the speaker off, click the trackwheel. A menu appears.
Click Speakerphone Off. The call is broadcast through the
earpiece.
Note: You can use the speaker by default for Direct Connect® calls. Refer to
"Set Direct Connect® options" on page 66 for more information.

Warning: Do not hold the handheld near your ear while using the speaker.
Hearing damage can occur. Refer to the
Booklet
for more information on using the speaker safely.
Place a phone call on hold
1. During a call, click the trackwheel. A menu appears.
2. Click Hold. The phone call is placed on hold.
