APERTURE DIAMETER CHECK/ADJUSTMENT

Equipment (Only the specific equipment is listed.)
• Adhesive bond (B-10)
4-2-1. Aperture Diameter Check
1.
Perform "LENS GENERAL ADJUSTMENT GUIDE 2. APERTURE DIAMETER CHECK".
Specification: Aperture error = -15 to +10 (WIDE end: 18mm)

If the aperture error does not meet the specification, perform "4-2-2. Aperture Diameter Adjustment".
4-2-2. Aperture Diameter Adjustment
1. Adjustment Procedure
1)
Remove the mount cover.
2)
Move the lever (Preset Lever) of preset ring and fix the preset ring around the location where the aperture is open.

Loosen a little two screws and move right and left the preset ring so that the preset ring can move right and left.
4)
Observing the light source from the rear lens side, move right and left two screws and tighten two screws at the position where the
aperture blades are just completely hidden by the neighboring frame.

Perform "4-2-1. Aperture Diameter Check" and repeat steps 1) to 4) until the aperture diameter (aperture tolerance) satisfies the
specification.
6)
After finishing the adjustment, apply the adhesive bond (B-10) to the heads of screws tightened in step 4) at two locations.
