5.3 Blades

Ensure every skirt is equipped with two new or equally worn
blades of the correct type: '90258700' (rh) and
'90258699' (lh): an arrow on each blade shows the
direction of rotation! When one blade edge is worn, blades
can be fitted upside down to the same drum.
Ensure the blades are exchanged in time, using the blade
detachment tool (15). When changing blades at once check
blade attachment pin condition!
Always exchange all blades/blade holders per drum! Ensure
the blade holders of a drum skirt have the same part number!

5.4 Lubrication

Attention:
-
Always apply a good and adhesive multipurpose
grease!
-
All waranty claims of damages caused by insufficient
lubrication will be rejected!
5.4.1

Mower

The gear boxes (the T-box between main and subframe and
the main frame itselves) contain Kroon Abacot MEP68-oil.
Exclusively use this, or an equivalent ISO VG68-oil in acc.
with DIN51517-3 or API GL3 or a higher quality oil.
Attention:
The oil level in the gear boxes has to be checked

every 40 working hours!
Never mix lubricants of different types!

Only oil loss or a repair makes replenishment necessary:
replenish until the lower edge of the filling hole (38) or till the
level is between the marking lines on the dipstick (G).
Gear box contents are:
-
central T-gear box: 2.3 litre (2.02 Imp.qt.)
-
main frame head: 13 litres (11.44 Imp.qt.).
Lubricate grease nipples (29 and 30) once a week.

Universal joint drive shafts

Lubricate the universal joint drive shafts as follows:

Drive shaft between tractor and machine in acc. with
upper fig.
