By default, the Setup Wizard starts once the device has loaded. Operating the Setup Wizard: Steps: Select the system resolution from the drop-down menu. The default resolution is 1280× 1024/60Hz. Click Apply to save the resolution settings.

The device automatically enters Live View mode when powered on. Live View Icons In the live view mode, there are icons at the right top of the screen for each channel, showing the status of the record and alarm in the channel, so that you can know whether the channel is recorded, or whether there are alarms occur as soon as possible.

In the live view mode, once a motion detection event takes place, the device can analyze it and perform some response actions to handle it. Enabling motion detection function can trigger certain channels to start recording, or trigger full screen monitoring, audio warning, notify the surveillance center and so on.
