    To lower the litter height, depress pedal (B). The Sechrist Hydraulic Gurney assembly employs a stop mechanism that automatically aligns the stretcherrails with the chamber rails. The stop mechanism can be defeated, allowing the stretcher to lower approxi-mately 3.5 inches lower to allow for easier patient transfer onto the stretcher.

    Gurney/Stretcher operation USING SIDERaILS: GURNEy - p/N 21464, 21465, 21502, 21266 CaUTIoN Be sure the siderail latching mechanism (A) is working properly at all times. If it is not, refer to the maintenance manual for ”Siderail Latch Adjustment”. To engage siderails: Pull up siderail (B) and raise to full up position so that latch (B) engages. (See illustration).

    USING THE HBo SLIDING STRETCHER To slide the stretcher into the Monoplace Hyperbaric Oxygen Chamber (HBO) Chamber: Align the stretcher rails with the Sechrist HBO Chamber rail sockets and apply the gurney base brakes. (Refer to the Sechrist HBO Chamber User’s Manual).

    Cleaning Hand wash all surfaces of the stretcher with warm water and mild detergent. Dry thoroughly. DO NOTSTEAM CLEAN, PRESSURE WASH, HOSE OFF OR ULTRASONICALLY CLEAN. Using these methodsof cleaning is not recommended and may void this product’s warranty. In general, when used in those concentrations recommended by the manufacturer, either phenolic type orquaternary type disinfectants can be used.
