Battery Use and Care • Only use machine with Briggs & Stratton 18V Batteries and Chargers. • Recharge only with the charger specified by the manufacturer. A charger that is suitable for one type of battery pack may create a risk of fire when used with another battery pack.

Press two cover clips inwards on the housing & remove the cover slowly. 2. Remove the remains of worn line from the spool (if any remains). Note: Remaining line may be sufficient to rewind and reuse if it has been tangled or has retracted back into the housing.

ASSEMBLY PROCEDURES Cutting Head Assembly Always ensure the line cutting blade on the guard is covered when fitting, changing or removing the trimmer head. Never operate the machine without a cutting head fitted. Never fit an alternative cutting head that has not been recommended by the manufacturer.
ASSEMBLY PROCEDURES Operating The Machine Hold the machine with your right hand on the rear handle and your left hand on the front handle. Keep a firm grip with both hands while in operation. The machine should be held at a comfortable position with the rear handle about hip height.
