Memory Editor Installation

This section provides the information of:
• Why do I need to create a folder on the C:\ drive called MemoryEd?

Creating a "MemoryEd" Folder

Create a folder on the C:\ drive called MemoryEd.
The Memory Editor and NEC USB Drivers will be copied to the MemoryEd folder to
make it easier to find the downloaded software for the installation process.

Copying Memory Editor

To copy Memory Editor from the NEC website:
1. Locate the Memory Editor at the website: www.nechdm.com. Select Toolbox and
Memory Editor.
2. Click on Install Memory Editor. The File Download dialog box displays.
3. Click the Save button. The Save As dialog box displays.
