Settings (M8)

This section describes how to change the settings
on your N600i.

Handset profile (M81)

Press 1 (Handset profile) on the User settings
screen. The Profile screen appears.
Handset Profile allows you to change the handset
operation mode to suit different situations: Standard
profile, Meeting profile (quiet surroundings), Outdoor
profile (when carrying your N600i in a pocket or a bag) and
Car profile (while travelling in a car). You can also
customise each profile to make it more useful.
To see and change the settings of a profile, focus on the
profile you want and press SK1 (EDIT).
You can also change the active handset profile from the
Home Screen. Press the Up key on the Home screen, or
press Options and 2 (Handset profile) to select a profile
option.

Volume
Adjusts the ringing volume and alarm
volume levels from Silent to Level 6
(loud).

Selects the ringtone for incoming
voice calls, video calls and messages
Illumination
Sets the illumination (colour and
pattern) for voice calls, video calls and
messages.
Vibration
Selects the vibration pattern (Pattern
pattern
one to three and Vibration off).
Other
Key tones:

Turns on/off keystroke sounds.
Coverage tone:
Turns the coverage tone on/off.
Auto answer:
Turns the auto answer function on/
off. When the headset is attached,
this function automatically answers
the call 5 seconds after the call is
first received. Valid for all incoming
calls.
