The KMINA Comfort 4-wheel Walker is a sturdy, lightweight walker that is ideal for getting
around, and also allows the user to rest thanks to its viscoelastic cushion that prevents
bedsores and has a washable and interchangeable cover. It offers a pressure or handle
braking system depending on the walker. It is designed to be used by the elderly, by people
with poor balance and/or weak legs, and by people with disabilities who need help to walk.
FOLDING SYSTEM
Remove all packaging and examine all parts for signs of shipping damage. Do not use the rollator if
it is damaged or any parts are missing.
When unfolding, pull the rear tubes backwards and push the attachment plates on both sides
downwards until these lock in position. Place the basket and turn the seat downwards.
When folding, lift the seat upwards and pull the attachment plates upwards. Do not place your
fingers between the folding mechanism. Push the rear tubes forwards against the front tubes and
fold up the back rest by pulling these upwards.
HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT
1. Stand straight behind the rollator with your shoulder relaxed and arms slightly bent at 15º.
2. Set the handle height to be level with your wrists.
3. Set the correct height using the height adjustment thread in one of the 7 settings.
4. adjust the height of both handles and check that both have the same height.
BRAKE SYSTEM
Pressure brake system: It is activated by the user's own weight and helps control the movement of
the walker. To brake, grasp the handles and, with the weight of the body, push down until the walker
stops.
Multifunctional brake system: The brake handles underneath the handles.
- To brake, pull the handle brake upwards toward the handle (1).
- To active the parking brake, push the handle brakedownwards till you hear a locking sound of the
brake. The wheels will be blocked until you pull the parking brakes upwards again.
WARNINGS
■
This is a walking device for compensation and improvement respectively of restricted ability of
walking.
■ Ensure the Rollator is fully open an secured in the correct position before use.
■
Test the Rollator for stability before use.
■
Test the brake mechanism before use.
■
The Rollator is a walking aid only and should not be used as a transportation device. Use only on
even and solid surfaces, never on an incline or uneven ground.
■
Do not stop, turn or reverse on a ramp or incline.Do not make sharp turns.
■
Do not exceed the maximum user weight: 220 lb.
■
Do not exceed the maximum basket load: 11 lb.
■ Do not expose the product to temperatures above 104ºf for a long time, otherwise the aluminium
tubes cover heat, which could lead to burns.
■
Ensure there are no objects blocking the wheels of the rollator.
■
Only proceed moving with your rollator when you are standing comfortably and with both hands
on the handles.
■
Ensure the brakes or the rollator are always in parking-mode before using. When you are standing
comfortable unlock the parking brakes.
■
Take note of the instructions for care and service. The manufacturer is not liable for damage
caused by improper servicing/care.
■ The Rollator should be inspected before each use to ensure it is free from damage and excessive
wear. If you do find wear or damage to your Walker, DO NOT USE.
■
Check that both wheels, tips and folding parts move freely and that there is no build-up of debris
around the axle.
■
Keep the Rollator clean by wiping with a damp cloth on regular basis. Do not use abrasive
cleaning materials.
■
If required, only use genuine parts supplied by KMINA or an approved stockist.
■
KMINA warrants that the Rollator is free from defects in material and workmanship. The warranty
shall remain in effect for 2 years from the date of original consumer purchase. The warranty does
not extend to parts that are exposed to natural wear and tear that will require periodic replacement
such as brakes, wheels, handgrips and bags. This warranty does not cover the following:
- Replacement parts supplied by anyone other than KMINA or the stockist.
- Any failure of the unit during the warranty period if the failure is not caused by defect in material or
workmanship or if the failure is caused by unreasonable use.
- KMINA is not liable for incidental or consequential injury or damage property.

Should it be necessary to return the Rollator, it is essential that it is adequately packed to protect it
in transit, preferably in its original packaging, otherwise KMINA cannot accept any responsibility for
transit damage to the unit.

This does not affect your statutory rights.
■
Please retain these instructions for future reference.
■
The product is suitable for reprocessing in line with manufacturer's recommendations.
■ Any serious incident related to the product must be reported to the manufacturer and to the
competent authority of the Member State in which the user and patient are established.

El Andador KMINA Comfort 4 Ruedas es un andador resistente y ligero ideal para
desplazarse, y que además permite al usuario descansar gracias a su cojín viscoelástico que
evita las escaras y que cuenta con una funda lavable e intercambiable. Ofrece un sistema de
frenado de presión o de maneta en función del andador. Está pensado para ser utilizado por
ancianos, por personas con poco equilibrio y/o piernas débiles, y por personas con alguna
deficiencia que necesitan ayuda para caminar.
SISTEMA DE PLEGADO
Para desplegar, tire de los tubos posteriores hacia atrás, empuje las láminas de unión hacia abajo
hasta que se bloqueen en su sitio y empuje el asiento hacia abajo.
Para plegar, eleve el asiento y tire de las láminas de unión hacia arriba. No coloque los dedos entre
el mecanismo de plegado. Empuje los tubos posteriores hacia delante, contra los frontales y tire del
respaldo hacia arriba.

AJUSTAR LA ALTURA
1. Colóquese erguido junto al andador con los hombros relajados y los brazos ligeramente
colocados a 15º.
2. Ajuste la altura de forma que las empuñaduras queden a la altura de las muñecas.
3. Fije la altura correcta utilizando la rosca de ajuste de altura en una de las 7 regulaciones.
4. Ajuste las dos empuñaduras y compruebe que quedan a la misma altura.

SISTEMA DE FRENOS

Freno por presión: Se activan por el propio peso del usuario y ayudan a controlar el movimiento del
andador. Para frenar, agarre las empuñaduras y, con el peso del cuerpo, empuje hacia abajo hasta
que el andador se detenga.
Freno multifuncional: Las palancas de freno se encuentran debajo de las empuñaduras.

- Para frenar brevemente, utilize las manos para presionar hacia arriba la palanca de freno.

- Para activar el freno de estacionamiento, presione las palancas de freno hacia abajo hasta que
K10013 / K10014 oiga un sonido de bloqueo. Las ruedas quedarán bloqueadas hasta que vuelva a tirar hacia arriba
de las palancas de freno.
ADVERTENCIAS
■ Este es un dispositivo para caminar que mejora la capacidad restringida para desplazarse.
■ Asegúrese de que el andador está completamente abierto y en la posición correcta antes de usar.
■ Asegúrese de que la empuñadura está bien ajustada a la altura correcta.

■ No exponga el producto a temperaturas superiores a 40°C durante tiempo prolongado; de lo
contrario los tubos de aluminio se calentarán y podrían provocarle quemaduras.
■ Asegúrese de que no hay piedras ni otros objetos bloqueando el uso normal de las ruedas.
■ Asegúrese de que los frenos están siempre en el modo de estacionamiento antes de usar el
andador. Cuando esté de pie y se sienta cómodo y estable, desbloquee los frenos.
■ Tenga en cuenta las instrucciones de cuidado y mantenimiento. El fabricante no asume ninguna

Il Deambulatore KMINA Comfort a 4 Ruote è un deambulatore robusto e leggero, ideale
per spostarsi e che permette anche di riposare grazie al suo cuscino viscoelastico che
previene le piaghe da decubito e ha un rivestimento lavabile e intercambiabile. Offre un
sistema di frenatura a pressione o a maniglia a seconda del deambulatore. È progettato per
essere usato dagli anziani, da persone con scarso equilibrio e/o gambe deboli, e da persone
con disabilità che hanno bisogno di aiuto per camminare.
SISTEMA DI PIEGATURA
Togliere tutti gli imballaggi e ispezionare tutte le parti per verificare che non vi siano segni di danni
da trasporto. Non utilizzare il deambulatore se è danneggiato o se mancano parti.
Per dispiegare, tirare indietro i tubi posteriori, spingere le piastre di collegamento verso il basso fino
a quando si bloccano in posizione e spingere il sedile verso il basso.
Per ripiegare, sollevare il sedile e tirare verso l'alto le piastre di collegamento. Non mettere le dita
tra il meccanismo di piegatura. Spingere i tubi posteriori in avanti contro i tubi anteriori e tirare lo
schienale verso l'alto.
REGOLARE L'ALTEZZA
1. Posizionarsi in piedi accanto al deambulatore con le spalle rilassate e le braccia leggermente
posizionate a 15°.
2. Regolare l'altezza in modo che i manici siano all'altezza del polso.
3. Impostare l'altezza corretta utilizzando il filo di regolazione dell'altezza in una delle 7
impostazioni.
4. Regolare le due maniglie e verificare che siano alla stessa altezza.
SISTEMA FRENANTE
Sistema di frenatura a pressione: Sono attivati dal peso proprio dell'utente e aiutano a controllare
il movimento del deambulatore. Per frenare, afferrare le maniglie e, con il peso del corpo, spingere
verso il basso fino a quando il deambulatore si ferma.

Freno a mano: Le leve del freno si trovano sotto le maniglie.
- Per frenare brevemente, premere con le mani sulla leva del freno.
- Per attivare il freno di stazionamento, premere le leve del freno verso il basso finché non si sente
un suono di bloccaggio. Le ruote sono bloccate finché non si tirano nuovamente verso l'alto le leve
del freno.
AVVERTENZE
■ Questo è un dispositivo che migliora la limitata capacità di muoversi all'interno e all'esterno.
■ Assicurarsi che il deambulatore sia completamente aperto e nella posizione corretta.
■ Accertarsi che l'impugnatura sia regolata correttamente all'altezza corretta.
■ Verificare il meccanismo del freno prima dell'uso. Quando le ruote sono bloccate, la pastiglia dei
freni dovrebbe impedire alle ruote di girare. Se le ruote girano mentre i freni sono bloccati, regolare
nuovamente la pressione. Quando i freni vengono rilasciati, le ruote devono ruotare liberamente.
■ Utilizzare il cestello solo per trasportare oggetti senza superare il carico massimo di 5 kg.
