Maintenance Introduction MaxJax is a portable Mid-Rise Lift with a small footprint designed for low-ceiling garages. MaxJax can raise Vehicles up to 7,000 lbs. (3,175 kg). CE Approved when installed with the CE Safety Release Kit. This manual is mandatory reading for all MaxJax users , including anyone who sets up, operates, maintains, or repairs them.

About Lifting Points, Lift Pad Adapters and Lift Pad Extensions An important note to keep in mind when using the MaxJax is that the raised Vehicle must be balanced on the four Lift Arms. If the Vehicle is not balanced, it is more likely to become unstable and slide off the Lift, possibly damaging the Lift, the Vehicle, and anything under the Lift, including injuring people.

If one of the long Hydraulic hoses requires replacement, replace it with a hose of the same length ±5%. The MaxJax is a Hydraulically Equalized Lift. Unequal Hose lengths may cause unequal lifting, resulting in an imbalance and subsequent loss of load.
