Handling Instructions for Calibration Cross CC20

The surface of the calibration object is very sensitive. Therefore, never

touch the surface directly with your hands.
Clean the point surface with the enclosed microfiber cloth from the
•
standard tool box. Wipe the surface gently only. Never exert any pres‐
sure.
Always unfold the calibration cross by 90°.

NOTICE
Deformation effects of the calibration cross can lead to wrong calibra‐
tion results.
During calibration, the calibration cross must not touch the floor.

Move the calibration cross during the calibration procedure such that
the calibration cross never collides with the floor or other objects!

Due to the dimensions of large calibration crosses, observe vibrations after
movements of the calibration cross. To carry out an exact calibration,
observe a short rest period until the next calibration after each reposition‐
ing.
Info
GOM delivers a corresponding calibration object with each measuring vol‐
ume. Only use the calibration object belonging to the measuring volume.
