Your phone displays icons to help you determine the call and line state (on-hook, on hold, ringing,
connected, and so on).

No call activity on this line.
You are dialing a number.
You are connected to the other party.
A call is ringing on your line.
You have a missed call on your line.
Your outgoing call is ringing.
You have put the call on hold. See
Incoming calls are being forwarded to another phone number.
There is an active standard (ad hoc) three-way conference call on the line.
The conference call is on hold.
