READ THESE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY AND NOTE THE SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
AND WARNINGS. USE THE APPLIANCE CORRECTLY AND WITH CARE FOR THE
PURPOSE FOR WHICH IT IS INTENDED. FAILURE TO DO SO MAY CAUSE DAMAGE
TO PROPERTY AND/OR SERIOUS PERSONAL INJURY. KEEP THIS INSTRUCTION
MANUAL SAFE FOR FUTURE USE.
- This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if
they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe
way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance.
Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
- Keep work area clean and well lit. Cluttered areas invite accidents.
- Do not operate the appliance in explosive atmospheres, such as in the presence of flam-
mable liquids, gases or dust.
- Keep children and bystanders away while operating this machine. Distractions can cause
you to lose control.
- Stay alert, watch what you are doing and use common sense when operating this ma-
chine. Do not use the appliance while you are tired, sick or under the influence of alcohol,
drugs, medication or other substances that could affect your ability to react. A moment of
inattention while operating may result in serious personal injury.
- Use safety equipment. Always wear ANSI approved eye goggles. Safety equipment such
as dust mask, non-skid safety shoes, helmet, or hearing protection used for appropriate
conditions will reduce personal injuries.
- Remove any adjusting key or wrench before turning the appliance on. A wrench or a key
left attached to a rotating part of the appliance may result in personal injury.
- Do not overreach. Keep proper footing and balance at all times. This enables better con-
trol of the appliance in unexpected situations.
- Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing or jewelry. Keep your hair, clothing and gloves
away from moving parts. Loose clothes, jewelry or long hair can be caught in moving
parts.
- If devices are provided for the connection of dust extraction and collection facilities, en-
sure these are connected and properly used. Use of these devices can reduce dust-related
hazards.
