MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING

- The appliance must be cleaned after each use.
- To do this, disconnect the switched-off appliance from the
power supply before you start cleaning.
- Make sure that the cable and the plug do not get wet during
cleaning.
- Do not place the unit in water!
- Do not clean the unit with aggressive chemicals, petrol, thinner
or scouring agents,
metal sponges, etc. so that the surface is not damaged!
- Check the air inlet and outlet openings on the underside and
rear of the unit regularly.

- For optimal ventilation of the appliance, the openings must always be free.
- Remove the plunger, the ejector disc and the working discs.
At TITUS: First twist off/remove the cabbage stump borer from the mounting axle using the tool supplied
(spanner) in order to remove the discs. Turn the spanner to the left (anti-clockwise).
- Roughly pre-clean with the enclosed brush (remove feed pieces),
- Clean thoroughly with warm water and a mild commercial detergent, then dry well.
- Wash these parts in the sink, do not use a dishwasher!
- Pre-clean the inside of the appliance with a brush.
- Then wipe the inside and outside with a damp cloth (possibly with mild detergent) and remove any detergent
residue.
- Wipe dry with a soft cloth.
- To clean the appliance, the lid can be removed by pulling the hinge rod out of the hinge. Replace after
cleaning.
- Replace the plunger,
- Put the discs away in a safe place.
Remove from plunger:
Press plunger down slightly, turn out of adjustment and remove.
Removing the discs:
Open the appliance lid by pressing the rocker on the bottom right of the top of the appliance to the left.
- For TITUS: Before removing the discs, first drill the cabbage stump borer with the open-ended wrench
(included in the scope of delivery) anticlockwise and remove.
- Turn the working disc counterclockwise out of the adjustment and remove it.
