- Fresh vegetables/fruit or, for example, cooked potatoes and cheese can be processed. Frozen food must
not be used, the knives will then quickly become blunt, and the appliance could suffer damage.
- Misuse can cause damage and will invalidate the guarantee.
- Before connecting the appliance to the mains and operating it, clean the appliance carefully.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

- Before using the unit for the first time, read these operating instructions carefully and follow the instructions
given in them.
- Incorrect operation and improper handling can lead to faults in the unit and to injuries to the user.
- Observe the accident prevention regulations and general safety regulations applicable to the area of use.
- Do not move the unit during use.
- Before connecting the appliance, make sure that a shockproof socket (with earth) and a 230 Volt connection
are available and that this corresponds to the information on the type plate. Other types of current can cause
the unit to overheat.

- Before moving the unit, disconnect the mains plug.
- Make sure that the unit does not tip over when you move it. This could lead to injuries.
- When the unit is back in place, wait two hours before operating the unit again.
- Do not let the mains cable hang over sharp edges and keep it away from hot objects and open flames.
- Make sure that it is not possible to accidentally pull the cable or trip over it.
- Do not damage or modify the power cord, pull on it, strain, bend or crush it, twist it or roll it up.
- Protect the unit from moisture.
- Do not clean the unit with an open jet of water.
- Do not immerse the unit in water or other liquids or wet it with liquids.
- No operation of the appliance by children or persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities;
or lack of experience and/or knowledge.
- The safety devices (magnetic switch on the housing cover, on the lever must not be removed or manipulated!
Risk of injury!
- Operate the unit only in appropriate working clothes, no hanging scarves, shawls or chains, no open long
hair, so as not to accidentally get into rotating parts of the unit, e.g. when filling the unit.
- Only operate the appliance with the housing cover closed, the large feed funnel closed by the lever arm and
the small, round feed funnel closed by the plunger!
- The plunger must be fixed by the adjustment device on the plunger and filling funnel as soon as the filling
process allows this. This is done for safety reasons and to prevent pieces of food from "creeping up" the feed
funnel.
