I have followed all directions. So has the man the store where I purchased who came to check. Our freezer will not go below 30* no matter what. The outside of it stays super cold. When he did a reset, it got warm on the outside, came up to 33* and then, back down to 30. What is wrong with this brand new aplliance? 17CF EUF17CEBW....PCB3720110 RHREX.

Possible causes for the Element EUF17CEBW freezer not going below 30°F include:
1. Temperature Sensor Failure – A faulty freezing chamber temperature sensor could prevent the freezer from reaching the set temperature. 2. Defrosting Sensor Failure – A malfunctioning defrost sensor might cause improper defrost cycles, affecting cooling performance. 3. Ambient Temperature Sensor Failure – If this sensor is defective, it could misread the surrounding temperature and impact the freezer’s operation. 4. Frequent Door Opening – Opening the door too often or leaving it open for long periods can cause a temperature increase. 5. Dirty Condenser Coils – Dust buildup behind and around the freezer can reduce cooling efficiency. Regular cleaning is necessary. 6. Incorrect Temperature Setting – Ensure the freezing chamber is set to the recommended 0°F. 7. Power Interruptions – If there was a power failure, the compressor may need time to stabilize and return to normal operation. 8. Blocked Airflow – Improper food arrangement inside the freezer can obstruct airflow, preventing uniform cooling.
If the issue persists, professional service may be required.
