2. Set the address DIP switch.
Hardware address = 6 x (ON switch No. of S1 – 1) + ON switch No. of S2
Example: Assume the first switch of S1 is ON and the third switch of S2 is ON.
Then, hardware address = 6 x (1 – 1) + 3 = 3.
NOTE
• Module addresses in the same system cannot be duplicate.
• Ensure that only one switch in S1 or S2 is ON when setting an address. If
multiple switches are ON, an error will occur during hardware address
calculation.
• If all switches of S1 or S2 are OFF, the address is invalid.
• Switches 7 and 8 of S1 and S2 are invalid so they do not need to be operated.
