    Battery selection and management This section refers exclusively to rechargeable, lead-acid batteries, for example car, tractor, truck, marine or specialist deep-cycle batteries. The battery you select will depend on whether your installation is a battery-only or a solar installation. For both types of installation, the position of the energizer selector switches will determine the size of battery and solar panel required.
