The Immobilon NOW Dispenser facilitates
®
rapid, precise measurement and cutting of
transfer membranes to standard mini and midi
sizes. It is designed for use with the following
Immobilon transfer membrane products:

*Included in the narrow roll box you will find a
membrane ID card along with a hazard sticker. Insert
the membrane ID card into the pouch on the inside
of the dispenser top. Ensure the hazard sticker
is displayed in a visible location and the dispenser
is stored appropriately. See the Immobilon-NC SDS
for details, located on the product page

1. Lift cover of dispenser. Hold the core and unscrew
the black knob.
2. Remove core from dispenser.
3. Remove outer packaging from the roll of membrane,
orient roll as shown, and insert the core into the roll.
CAUTION: The membrane is sandwiched between
blue patapar sheets. To avoid damaging it, leave the
patapar in place while dispensing and cutting.
4. Slide the core and membrane roll into place in the
side grooves and screw the knob in to secure the
roll in the dispenser.
5. Detach the appropriate Immobilon
ID card from the strip of cards and fill in the lot
number. Place the card in the pouch on the inside
of the dispenser top.Remove tape from the end of
the membrane roll and feed the patapar/membrane
sandwich up through the slot in the cover and out
towards the front of the dispenser.

6. Gently pull the membrane/patapar sandwich
forward as indicated and align the edge with the
front edge of the cover (marked "ALIGN MEMBRANE
TO EDGE").
