Speed-Restricted Features
For your safety, some functions of the
system are speed dependent. Some
features of this system may be too difficult
to use when your vehicle is moving so they
are restricted from use unless your vehicle
is stationary. Other features are limited to
when your vehicle is traveling at speeds
under 5 mph (8 km/h).
Connecting Your Phone
Switch on Bluetooth® on your device to
begin pairing. Check the compatibility of
your device on the local Ford website.
To add a phone:
1. Select the phone option on the
feature bar.
2. Select Add Phone.
3. Follow the on-screen instructions to pair
your device.
To pair subsequent phones, see the Phone
chapter in your Owner's Manual.
Phone Menu
From the phone menu, you can check
your messages or email, adjust phone
settings, change devices or place your
device in Do Not Disturb mode. The Do Not
Disturb mode rejects all incoming calls and
switches off ringtones and alerts.
Making Calls
To make calls, select from your contacts,
recent calls, favorites or dial the number on
the phone keypad.
Receiving Calls
To accept the call, select Accept on the
touchscreen or press the phone button on
the steering wheel.
To reject the call, select Reject on
the touchscreen.
