  • Page 59: X-Talk

Velocity values below this threshold are ignored by the analysis unit (G3 module). This practice comes at a price, however, as the physical effects of two instruments on each other are usually mutual. High X-Talk thresholds counter- act low activation thresholds of individual pads (for sensitive players) and any physical problem often requires an increase in X-Talk values on both instruments causing the problem.

  • Page 109 MENU  Master  MIDI  [F1] MIDI You can access various MIDI functions in your G3 module. In this tab, the user can adjust note values for MIDI OUT configurations.
  • Page 110: Midi Pad Settings

In this view, the user can adjust note values for MIDI OUT configurations. An example of a deviation from the G3's internal MIDI note assignment is that some manufacturers use a specific note setup internally (e.g. the assignment starts at a different octave of the keyboard). In order to make these units compat- ible with each other, their external note configuration must be matched.
