- Page 3 Assembly and Use Tools Required for Assembly: Open end wrench or adjustable wrench (not included). Step 1: Place Upper Cross Leg (D) over Lower Cross Leg (C) to form “X” shape. Step 3: Attach Pole Holder (F) to cross legs (C&D) using screws (GG) and washers (HH) found in blister pack.
- Page 4 Assembly and Use (cont ’d) Step 3: Lay base components (A&B) on top of cross legs to form rectangular base. Step 4: Unscrew caps from each section of umbrella base and fill with sand no less than 33 lbs. Reposition caps and tighten into place.
- Page 5 Assembly and Use (cont’d) Holder Pole Ring Control Knobs Step 5: Pull holder pole ring from top of Holder Pole (F) and unscrew both control knobs. Slide Pole Support Cup (L) onto Holder Pole (F). Replace control knobs and holder pole ring. WARNING: Fully assemble umbrella base prior to inserting frame to avoid umbrella tipping.
- Page 6 Assembly and Use (cont’d) Lever clamp Glide handle Crank handle Step 7: To open umbrella, pull out Lever Clamp to release Glide Handle. Grasp and slide Glide Handle up along Umbrella Pole. Turn Crank Handle to right until Lower Center Hub reaches end of Support Pole (shown above) and canopy has proper tension.
