To receive traffic information on your Magellan Maestro you will need an enhanced traffic cradle.
This cradle comes as standard with the Maestro 4050 and is included with the optional Magellan
TrafficKit for Maestro 4010 and 4040. This cradle will give you access to free traffic information on
major roads across Europe and to lifetime premium services in France or Great-Britain (Information
about activating the lifetime subscription to premium traffic services in France or Great-Britain are
provided with the Magellan Maestro 4050 or Magellan TrafficKit).
Traffic Cradle
The antenna for receiving the traffic alert signals is located in the
traffic cradle. If you are experiencing difficulties in obtaining
traffic signals, you may need to reposition the Magellan Maestro
or use an external FM antenna (not supplied).
Traffic Cradle Connections
All of the connections to the traffic cradle are optional with the exception of power.
