the appliance, switch it off immediately and remove
the plug from the electrical socket. Do not attempt
to tamper with the appliance, contact personnel with
the appropriate technical skills, the dealer or a service

• The appliance must be cleaned and dried thoroughly
at the end of every operating cycle.
• If the appliance is not used for an extended period
of time, store as outlined in the paragraph entitled

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE.

• It is recommended that the appliance is cleaned and
maintained periodically as outlined in the CLEANING
AND MAINTANANCE section.
• Should the user no longer intend to use the appli-
ance, after removing the plug from the socket, it is ad-
visable to render it inoperative by cutting the power
cable (16).
• Do not keep the humidifier in environments with ex-
treme temperatures.
• Do not use plug adaptors, multiple plugs and/or ex-
tension cables. If the use of these becomes necessary,
only use simple or multiple adapters and extension
cables that comply with current safety standards, tak-
ing care not to exceed the power limit indicated on
the adapter and/or extension.
