HOOK UP SYSTEM

Using the diagram, connect your headset system. Connect the base to your desk phone's headset port, if available. Otherwise, connect the base to your handset port. See user guide to set up optional HL10 lifter or EHS cable.

POWER ON YOUR HEADSET

To turn on the headset, slide the Power button.

PAIR TO YOUR MOBILE

  1. To pair your headset to your mobile phone, press and hold the power button up until you hear "pairing" and the headset LEDs flash red and blue.
  2. Go to Bluetooth settings on your mobile and select Poly VXXXX Series. Once successfully paired, you hear "pairing successful" and the headset LEDs stop flashing.

CHARGE YOUR HEADSET

Charge your headset for a minimum of 20 minutes by placing it in the cradle. The base display's battery icon is blue when charging and turns off when fully charged.

DOWNLOAD SOFTWARE

Poly Lens Desktop App is required for softphone call control. Download: poly.com/lens.

HOW TO

Make a call

  1. Tap an Audio button on the display panel. You hear a dial tone.
    Desk phone only: Press phone's Headset button or manually remove handset if you don't have HL10 lifter or EHS cable.
  2. Dial from your softphone or desk phone.

End/take a call

To answer or end a call, tap the corresponding Audio button or tap the headset call button.
Desk phone only: If you don't have an HL10 lifter or EHS cable, press your phone's Headset button or remove the handset when answering a call and hang up when ending a call.
TIP Headset call control for the computer requires Poly software and softphone compatibility. See "Download software."

TROUBLESHOOTING

No dial tone from desk phone? Adjust the switch on the bottom of your base to "A" for most phones.

NOTE Use "D" for Cisco phones.

No call audio from computer? Select Voyager Base as your computer's default audio device.

Is headset sound distorted/echoing? Lower your base's Listening volume or Speaking volume . Need more help? compatibility.plantronics.com/deskphone.

Need to pair your headset again?

  1. Your headset comes pre-paired to the base. To pair again, put your headset into pair mode and press the Bluetooth pairing button on the back of your base for 2 seconds until the base display's Bluetooth icon flashes blue and red.
    Need to pair your headset again?
  2. Once successfully paired, the base display's Bluetooth icon turns solid blue.

Low battery during a call?
Connect the headset directly to your computer with 1.5 m USB cable to use corded mode.
