  • Page 8 If the valve cartridge is flipped (hot and cold inlets reversed), install the stem with the timing mark in the 7 o’clock position. Confirm that the stem is correctly installed, with the timing mark correctly positioned and the arms vertical and horizontal. 1066047-2-C Kohler Co.

    Align the marks on the mounting plate with the knobs on the stem by sliding the mounting plate left or right as needed. Fully tighten the mounting screws. Apply a small amount of adhesive caulk or sealant to the top and sides of the mounting plate. 1066047-2-C Kohler Co.

  • Page 12 NOTE: The temperature stop ring will determine the standard maximum temperature of the water. Every notch represents a 1°F (1.6°C) change in water temperature.
