1. ON/OFF/MODE SELECTOR SWITCH
To turn the unit ON, slide the ON/
OFF/MODE SELECTOR SWITCH to
the LETTER MODE ( "abc" ) or the
NUMBER MODE ( "123" ) position. To
turn the unit OFF, slide the ON/OFF/
MODE SELECTOR SWITCH to the
OFF position.
2. VOLUME CONTROL SWITCH
To adjust the volume, slide the VOLUME
CONTROL SWITCH on the bottom of
the unit to the LOW VOLUME (
the HIGH VOLUME (
3. PULL CORD
To convert the unit from a push toy to
a pull toy, remove the pull cord from
the battery compartment and thread
it through the eyelet on the base. We
suggest you store the pull cord in the
compartment until your child is walking.
4. AUTOMATIC SHUT-OFF
To preserve battery life, the VTech
First Phone will automatically power-
down after approximately 30 seconds
without input. The unit can be turned
on again by pressing any button.
