    Windows ME / 2000 / XP are familiar with their OS, and are capable to follow the step-by-step instructions to install the driver of MEGA PLAYER 540.     Chapter 4. Basic Usage Using Five Way Button Five Way Button is one of the most important features of MEGA PLAYER 540. In this document, we will use the term, “Select”, to mean that you should push Five Way Button to left or right to browse through options, and then select the option by pressing the Five Way Button.

    Playing Video To play video stored on the built-in hard disk, select the Multi Media item in Main Menu. Select Video item in Multi Media menu. Select a video file to play in Browser Menu. You can press the Enter button to pause or resume the video.

    FM Radio Mode (Optional) To listen to the radio broadcast, select the Radio item in Main Menu. 2.     If you want to manage files on the USB device, or backup data to the USB device, firstly plug one end of the USB Host cable to the MEGA PLAYER 540 USB port, the other end to the proprietary cable of the USB device, such as digital camera and USB stick, and then go through with following steps.

    When it is complete, the “Finish” message will show on the screen. Note: Please do not remove or turn off the device until it is completed. Setting MEGA PLAYER 540’s setting can be adjusted to suit your needs.

    Setting Power Off You can set the timer under Power Off setting to turn off MEGA PLAYER 540 automatically when it is playing or recording for a certain time. Select the Setting item in Main Menu.

    Setting Backlight Off Backlight timer program can save the power. After having been idle for few seconds, the device will run the Backlight timer program automatically and cease the backlight, you can press any button to wake the backlight up. Select the Setting item in Main Menu.

    Press the A→B/REC button again to stop recording. It will be encoded to a MP3 format file and save in the RECORD folder in the MEGA PLAYER 540 automatically, and you will see the status jump to the file list in the RECORD folder.

    Language Learning Function MEGA PLAYER 540 enables users to listen to a particular section repeatedly during music or voice playback. With this function, users will be able to pay attention to the repeated section and to achieve the result of language learning.
