9. Handling lithium-ion batteries
When handling lithium-ion batteries, it is absolutely essential to make sure that they don't get
damaged. Handling a battery properly eliminates nearly all hazards.
When handling a lithium-ion battery:
- Do not crush it, e.g. do not place anything heavy on top of it.
- Don't drop it or knock it over.
- Do not open it or drill into it.
- Do not heat or burn it.
- Do not short circuit it or solder wires to it.
- Do not submerge it in liquid.
- Do not solder or weld anything to it.
- Never use a damaged battery.

Disposal
For safety reasons, FlyMarker
sent for repair with batteries removed.
It is prohibited to send used batteries to MARKATOR
- Batteries and other FlyMarker
must not be discarded with household waste, and
must be appropriately disposed of according to
national, state and local regulations.

Failure to comply can lead to severe environmental
damage and, under some circumstances, to damage to
plants and animals.
