EXPOSURE COMPENSATION

Carry out exposure compensation if there is an extreme
brightness contrast between the main subject and
the background so that it will be impossible to obtain the right
exposure for the main subject or when you deliberately want
to under-or-overexpose the subject.
The exposure compensation dial is normally set to "0".
When you want to correct the exposure, turn the exposure
compensation dial to the desired value and set this in
the exposure compensation display window. It is possible
to set in units of 0.5 EV within a range of +2 EV and -2 EV.
When the exposure compensation dial is set to a value other
than "0", the"±" will light.
• Be sure to return the exposure compensation dial to "0"
after shooting.
