Northern Exposure Futon Assembly Instructions
PLEASE READ THROUGH ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE ASSEMBLING!
This Northern Exposure is a handcrafted futon frame. It is made of pine. Cracking, twisting, and warping are
common characteristics of this wood. Each frame is uniquely different because it is hand hewed. Because
cracking, twisting, and warping are characteristics of the wood, they are not considered defects. Some
adjustments may be necessary to make your frame sit correctly. Your front log cross rail will need to be rotated
until the seat section will sit on it flat.
You have purchased the most unique futon frame in the industry!
STEP 1:

STEP 3:
Attach the rectangular cross rail by running a 4 ¾" bolt
through the arm into the cross rail on each end. DO
